The Villages at Withers Heights is a new home community located off of 12th Avenue South just west of Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach.
Locals may know the name “Withers” from the early 1700’s and early 1800’s as the Withers family were among the first European settlers in the Myrtle Beach area – they owned large tracts of land and plantations near what eventually became Myrtle Beach. Withers Heights, The Villages at Wither Heights, Withers Swash – all reflect the early family influence on the land.

The Villages at Withers Heights is conveniently located in the heart of Myrtle Beach close to the Myrtle Bach International Airport, Coastal Grand Mall and Family Kingdom. Family Kingdom first opened in the 1960s and remains the only oceanfront amusement park on the Grand Strand, making it a longtime and uniquely coastal Myrtle Beach landmark.
The Villages at Withers Heights is also located near the Whispering Pines Golf Course - a historic and well-known Myrtle Beach golf course, recognized for its military roots, classic parkland layout, and reputation as one of the area’s most authentic local golf experiences. In 1962, Whispering Pines began not as a typical commercial golf course but as a golf facility built by the U.S. Air Force on what was then Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. Whispering Pines Golf Course has since transitioned from one of the first former military golf courses in the U.S. to become municipally owned and operated.
