Grande Dunes is widely recognized as one of the premier residential destinations along the Grand Strand. Stretching from the Intracoastal Waterway to the Atlantic Ocean, the 2,200-acre master-planned community offers an exceptional blend of luxury homes, villas, condominiums, championship golf, a private marina, and resort-style amenities—all centrally located in the heart of Myrtle Beach. Islewater at Grande Dunes will be located within Marina Village, one of the newest and final neighborhoods planned for the Grande Dunes community. Marina Village is being developed along the Intracoastal Waterway adjacent to the Grande Dunes Marina, providing residents with a highly desirable waterfront setting and convenient access to boating, dining, shopping, and everything the Myrtle Beach area has to offer.
Lennar is the builder for Islewater at Grande Dunes. As the nation's second-largest homebuilder in 2025 based on homes delivered, Lennar now operates in more than 30 states and over 75 markets across the country. The builder has established a significant presence throughout the Myrtle Beach area, where it is actively building in more than 20 new home communities.
Plans call for Lennar to build 86 single-family homes in Islewater at Grande Dunes.
Islewater marks Lennar's second neighborhood within the Grande Dunes master-planned community. The builder began presales at Beach View at Grande Dunes in June 2025, where plans include 95 single-family homes. Beach View at Grande Dunes offers one- and two-story floor plans featuring approximately 1,782 to 2,902 square feet of living space, with three to five bedrooms and two to three-and-a-half bathrooms. Current base pricing starts at approximately $600,000, providing an indication of the luxury market Lennar is serving within Grande Dunes.
Islewater at Grande Dunes is being developed directly next door to the Dream Finders Homes community of Islecrest at Grande Dunes. Dream Finders Homes is building 111 single-family homes in Islecrest at Grande Dunes. Islecrest at Grande Dunes is featuring a collection of luxury Designer Series single-family homes ranging from approximately 1,654 to 3,104 square feet with 2 to 5 bedrooms and 2 to 2.5 bathrooms. Buyers will be able to choose from seven thoughtfully designed floor plans—Belair, Oceana, Brentwood, Bellwood, Hamilton, Rockwell, and Harmony—offering one- and two-story layouts, first-floor primary suites, loft options, and flexible living spaces designed for modern lifestyles. As of July 2026, Dream Finders Homes is pricing the single-family homes in Islecrest at Grande Dunes starting in the low $600’s. The models homes have been completed and there are several spec homes nearly completed for quick move in.
As of July 2026, Lennar has not yet announced floor plans or pricing for the single-family homes in Islewater at Grande Dunes. The anticipated sales release date for Islewater at Grande Dunes is the
fall of 2026.
