These four new townhomes communities are located on the opposite side of Hickman Road NW from the new home community of Coastal Club of the Carolinas by Chesapeake Homes. The new home community of Coastal Club of the Carolinas is being developed on the property that used to be the Farmstead Golf Links. The Farmstead Golf Links was a distinctive course that operated from 2001 until its closure in October of 2021.
The four new townhomes communities off of Hickman Road in Calabash that will be coming soon are as follows.
1. Rye Pint Townhomes
In April of 2023, 176 units were approved for development on an approximate 65.88 acres of land just north of Hickman Road NW. Preliminary plans are showing 22 separate buildings with 8 townhomes per building. Timing for the development of the Rye Pint Townhomes has not been announced.
2. Mossy Hill Townhomes
In May of 2023, 592 units were approved for development on an approximate 175.04 acres of land just north of Hickman Road NW. Preliminary plans are showing close to 105 separate buildings. Timing for the development of the Mossy Hill Townhomes has not been announced.
3. Hickman Branch Hill Townhomes
In April of 2023, 316 units were approved for development on an approximate 70.82 acres of land just north of Hickman Road NW. Preliminary plans are showing around 30 separate buildings with approximately 9 Hickman Branch Hill townhomes per building. Timing for the development of the Hickman Branch Townhomes has not been announced.
4. Forest View Townhomes
In June of 2023, 107 units were approved for development on an approximate 22.99 acres of land just north of Hickman Road NW. Preliminary plans are showing 17 separate buildings with 6 townhomes per building and 1 separate building with 5 townhomes. Timing for the development of the Forest View Townhomes has not been announced.
