One of Crown Pointe’s most appealing attributes is its location just north of historic Georgetown. Crown Pointe is situated just off Highway 701, with access through David W. Ray Drive, a relatively short local road connecting Highway 701 with Pringles Ferry Road. While David W. Ray Drive may not be a road familiar to many people today, its location provides Crown Pointe with an important advantage: residents are close to the Highway 701 corridor without living directly along the highway. This creates a more residential setting while keeping shopping, restaurants, healthcare, employment and other everyday conveniences within easy reach. The activity at Peru Plantation, combined with the scale of Crown Pointe and other planned development in the area, points to a growing residential corridor along this portion of Highway 701.
