News Title:On Jan 6, 2025, Conway City Council to consider renaming Rose Estates to Hainer Place – thus becoming a second future extension/phase of Hainer Place.
On January 6, 2025, Conway City Council will be having their regular monthly meeting in the City Hall Council Chamber on Main Street in Conway. One of the agenda items will be to consider renaming Rose Estates to Hainer Place – thus becoming a second future extension/phase of Hainer Place.
Hainer Place is located north of downtown Conway just to the east of Highway 701 and along SC-65.
Conway City Council approved the subdivision name of Hainer Place back in 2022. The initial phase of Hainer Place was approved for 53 single family lots on an approximate 17 acre parcel of land. The approximate 34.75 parcel of land adjacent to Hainer Place was reviewed and received preliminary plan approval from the Technical Review Committee and received approval from the Commission back in 2023. This parcel was initially proposed with the name Rose Estates. The Rose Estates development plans called for 80 single family lots with frontage on Highway 65, Highway 813 and Lite Road.
If the name change is approved on January 6 ,2025, Hainer Place would then consist of a first phase of 53 single family homes followed by a subsequent phase of 80 single-family homes (formerly Rose Estates).
Mungo Homes will be the builder in Hainer Place.
Michael J. Mungo started building homes in the Columbia, South Carolina area in 1954, and still today, the Mungo family is involved in the day-to-day operations of the new home building business. Many of their team members live and play in the communities where they build so you’re likely to bump into them at the grocery store, a football game, or the gym, and they take care of you just as well after the close as during the buying process. Mungo Homes is now a division of the Clayton Home Building Group and a Berkshire Hathaway company. Mungo Homes is well committed to building in the Myrtle Beach area.
Homes in Hainer Place are expected to be priced from the mid $200's.
Mungo Homes has not yet announced timing for development of Hainer Place.
