News Title: After 2 years of development, Lennar has completed construction of all of the single-family homes in the new community of Hidden Pines in Carolina Forest
Hidden Pines is a new home community in Carolina Forest that first began to close homes back in the fall of 2023. Hal B. Holmes Jr. purchased property near the Highway 501 and Route 31 interchange directly next to the existing subdivisions of Sago Plantation and Pine Island and sold the property to Lennar. Over 200 single family were approved for development at this location. There are 2 access points to this community, one through Sago Plantation and the other at Las Palmas Drive. The minimum lot size is 6,000 square feet.
Hidden Pines features a swimming pool with a lounge area for summertime fun, as well as vibrant community gardens for access to fresh and nutritious produce.
Horry County approved the development of 214 single family homes and as of July of 2025 all of the single-family homes have been constructed and sold and/or under contract.
The new single-family homes in Hidden Pines sold from $313,000 to $444,000, with an average selling price of $378,000.
Lennar was the builder in Hidden Pines.
