Construction is the small townhome community of Petigru Place started in 2025.

(Original Tindall Design, Inc.) is a locally owned custom home builder based in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, serving homeowners throughout the Grand Strand, including Myrtle Beach, Murrells Inlet, and surrounding coastal communities. Led by Chris Tindall, OTD specializes in custom-built residential homes, along with multifamily construction, commercial projects, and remodeling. The company focuses on creating individually designed homes rather than standardized production-built residences, allowing homeowners greater flexibility in selecting layouts, finishes, and design features. With experience in a variety of construction types, OTD positions itself as a hands-on builder where attention to detail and direct involvement from ownership are central to its approach.

The other townhome unit in Petigru Place has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and approximately 1,351 square feet of living space. This unit offers a one bedroom and full bathroom on the main level, along with a powder room, with two additional bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, creating versatility for multi-generational living, rental income, or long-term occupants.
The townhome units are being sold separately or as a single building with both units.
As of July 2026, the townhomes in Petigru Place are being priced starting in the middle $300's.
Petigru Place generated significant local attention a few years ago. In late 2022, Covington Homes, the initial builder, submitted a major subdivision application to build the 12-unit townhome community. Some neighboring residents objected, arguing that the proposed density was inconsistent with the property's Medium Density designation in the Comprehensive Plan and would impact the historic Fraserville community. The dispute resulted in litigation filed in Georgetown County in 2023 after Planning Commission actions on the application. Despite that controversy, the Petigru Place project ultimately moved forward, with completed and under-construction townhomes for sale.
Rose Run is an existing townhome community located near where the townhomes in Petigru Place are being built. The Rose Run townhome community was established around 2005 – with a total of almost 90 townhomes constructed along Red Rose Boulevard.
Magic Oaks is another new home community near Petigru Place. Magic Oaks brings boutique luxury and private waterfront living to Pawleys Island - only 25 homes in an exclusive gated community. The new home community of Magic Oaks is conveniently located directly off of Highway 17 next to the Hammock Shops Village. The Hammock Shops Village reflects state and local history. The complex background of how the shopping village came to be, showcases its importance in both South Carolina and Pawleys Island history. The Hammock Shops Village currently comprises twenty-one unique shops, two restaurants, a playground, beautiful landscaping, and common places of leisure. This whole outdoor shopping complex adopted its name from the “Original Hammock Shop,” which was established in 1938. The new home community of Magic Oaks in Pawleys Island is being developed on an approximate 19 acre parcel of land. Presales in Magic Oaks started in July of 2026.
