Horry County has approved development of 279 single family homes and 119 multi-family homes in Cooper's Bluff. Lennar has been the primary builder in Cooper's Bluff. Lennar completed development of an initial set of approximately 250 single family homes in late spring of 2023. Lennar continued development within Cooper's Bluff with approximately 120 townhomes.
The complete subdivision of Cooper's Bluff also has a small portion of property adjacent to the Intracoastal Waterway. This additional section has 28 single family units approved for development (not owned by Lennar) that are going to be developed in 2025. This additional section along the Intracoastal Waterway has some areas that are in a flood zone.
Beverly Homes owns these 27.57 acres of property, but has not yet announced pricing or timing of presales of the single-family homes in this section.
