News Title:Meritage Homes has officially released pricing for Palmetto Place, their new single-family home community in Longs, with introductory pricing starting at $327,490.
The new home community of Palmetto Place is conveniently located on the north side of Highway 90. Locals may know this area as Star Bluff Crossroads as this is near where Star Bluff Road and Long Bay Road each cross Highway 90.
This location is also close to where Water Tower Road intersects with Highway 90. Water Tower Road, a very convenient thoroughfare, is an approximate 10-mile long road in North Myrtle Beach/Longs that runs from the interchange at Highway 31 northeast to Highway 90.
There are several other new home communities near Palmetto Place:
The Overlook - a new home community by Lennar that will have approximately 200 single-family homes. Single-family homes in The Overlook first began to sell in June of 2025.
Forestwood - a new home community just off of Water Tower Road by Pulte. The single-family homes in Forestwood began to sell in January of 2025.
Summers Cove - a new home community adjacent to Forestwood that is in the early planning stages. Expectations are for this new home community to have just over 200 single-family homes.
Marshfield - a new home community off of Water Tower Road by Beazer. The single-family homes in Marshfield are expected to start selling in the winter of 2025. The new home community of Marshfield is being developed on a piece of land that is over 200 acres.
Tupelo Park - a new home community just east of Palmetto Place off of Highway 90 by Lennar. The single-family homes in Tupelo Park first started to sell in late 2024.

The Newport floorplan by Meritage Homes in Palmetto Place – single-story, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 car garage, approximately 1,835 square feet of living space
Initial delivery of the single-family homes in Palmetto Place by Meritage Homes will be in April of 2026.
