News Title: Maple Farms is a new home community of 40 single family homes by Great Southern Homes coming soon to Conway
Horry County has approved development of 40 single family homes in Maple Farms.

This new home community of Maple Farms is conveniently located near the intersection of Highway 701 and Highway 22 (Veterans Highway).  Both downtown Conway and downtown Aynor are just a few minutes away and it is only a little more than a 30 minute drive to the beaches.

The new home community of Maple Farms in Conway will be developed on an approximate 40 acre parcel of land that will straddle Huckleberry Lane.
Great Southern Homes will be the builder in Maple Farms.

In late 2025, Encroachment and Stormwater Permits for Maple Farms were already obtained.

As of February 2026, Great Southern Homes has not yet announced timing or pricing of the single-family homes in Maple Farms.

Homes for sale in Maple Farms

Great Southern Homes is no stranger to building in this area.  In 2025, Great Southern Homes built and sold 12 boutique homes off of Huckleberry Lane in Conway.  There was no HOA involved and the homesites were all about ½ and acre.  Some of the floor plans accommodated 3-car garages.  The 12 single-family homes on Huckleberry Lane ranged from 3-5 bedrooms, 2-3.5 bathrooms, 2-3 car garages, 1-2 stories, and sizes starting from 1,400 square feet to 2,175 square feet.  Great Southern Homes completed development and sold all 12 of these single family homes in October of 2025.  These single-family homes sold from $275,000 to $425,000 with an average selling price at around $335,000.

Huckleberry Estates
Hunter Quinn Homes is also building in the same area off of Huckelberry Lane.  Hunter Quinn Homes is building in Huckleberry Estates, a unique new home community with only 12 homesites – all over ½ acre in size.  As of February 2026, Hunter Quinn Homes is pricing their new single-family homes in Huckleberry Estates starting in the high $300’s.
Other new home communities in the general area where Maple Farms is being developed include:

Jordan Grove
Jordan Grove is a new home community of 93 single family homes being developed on an approximate 70 acre piece of land that sits close to the intersection of Highway 22 and Highway 701.  The Mungo new home community of Jordan Grove will have single family homes ranging from 1,200 square feet to 2,700+ square feet.  Pricing is starting in the low $300's.  Jordan Grove is a 30 minute commute to Myrtle Beach, 20 minutes to area golf courses, and 10 minutes to shopping and dining.

Ravenloft
Ravenloft is a new home community in Conway, SC of 54 single-family homes that started presales in February of 2025.  D. R. Horton is the builder in Ravenloft.  The new home community of Ravenloft is being developed on an approximate 16.73 acre piece of property.  The new home community of Ravenloft is located a few miles north of downtown Conway just off of Highway 701 and close to the intersection of Highway 701 and Highway 22. More specifically, Ravenloft is located directly off of the Long Avenue Extension. Wisteria Woods (subdivision with 79 single family homes) and Plantersfield (subdivision with 87 single family homes) are two communities near where Ravenloft is being developed.  As of February 2026, D. R. Horton is pricing the single-family homes in Ravenloft from the $292’s.

Plantersfield
The Conway new home community of Plantersfield is conveniently located in Maple Crossroads just off of highway 701 just below its interchange with Highway 22, just down the road from the Grier Crossing subdivision.  Starlight Homes was the builder in Plantersfield.  There were 87 single-family homes developed in Plantersfield.  The new home community of Plantersfield first began to close homes in the late spring of 2024.  In a little over a year the community sold out.  The new single family homes in Plantersfield sold from $200,000 to the low $300’s with an average selling price of approximately $260,000.
