News Title: The new home community of Merrill Villas is now in the final phase of development with 90% of the community completed and sold
Merrill Villas is a Carolina Forest new home community by Mungo Homes that is nearing completion.
This Carolina Forest new home community is located adjacent to Bella Vista and close to Highway 501 and Highway 31. Merrill Villas is offering both one- and two-story homes ranging from 1,700 to over 3,000 square feet with up to six bedrooms. Plans offering two primary bedrooms are perfect for multi-generational families. Additional plans offer a first-floor primary bedroom, a designated home office, flex or bonus room, or a first-floor guest suite perfect for visitors. Enjoy easy access to Myrtle Beach Airport and living close to Highway 31, golfing, local beaches, shopping, and dining. Amenities will include a pool and a cabana area.
Single-family homes in Merrill Villas first closed back in June of 2022. A little over two years later, the community is nearing completion.
The new home community of Merrill Villas is now in the final phase of development with 90% of the community completed and sold. Homes in Merrill Villas have sold from the low $300’s to close to $500, with the average price in the high $300’s.
Of the 185 single family homes in Merrill Villas, 167 of the single-family homes have already sold or are pending.
As of January 10, 2025, the final phase of homes for sale includes 7 available homesites, 8 move-in ready and the 3 model homes.
Michael J. Mungo started building homes in the Columbia, South Carolina area in 1954, and still today, the Mungo family is involved in the day-to-day operations of the new home building business.
