In late December of 2025, Starlight Homes recently purchased 3 parcels in Galivants Ferry. These three parcels (1) 58.18 acres, (2) 136.55 acres, and (3) 78.12 acres – total nearly 275 acres of land. Ridgecrest is the tentative name for this new home community by Starlight Homes comprising these 3 parcels.
The new home community of Ridgecrest is just a couple of minutes south of D. R. Horton’s new home community - Jordanville Farms – a master planned community of over 400 homes that began presales back in the summer of 2023.
The new home community of Ridgecrest in Galivants Ferry is also in close proximity to Highway 501 – a primary route into Myrtle Beach – and one of the main highways people use to enter Myrtle Beach from inland areas like Conway and farther north. Highway 501 connects directly with U.S. 17 Business (Kings Highway) near downtown Myrtle Beach, making it a direct route toward the beach and city center.
The current zoning of all of the three parcels is MSF 10. This Horry County Zoning District of MSF 10 (Manufactured Single-Family) is for single-family residential, including mobile homes with a minimum lot size of 10,000 square feet.
Starlight Homes has not yet announced plans for any zoning change and they have also not announced timing or pricing for their new home community of Ridgecrest in Galivants Ferry.

In 2025, a little over a year later, Starlight Homes completely sold out all 87 single-family homes developed in Plantersfield. The new single-family homes in Plantersfield sold from $200,000 to the low $300’s with an average selling price of approximately $260,000.

The new home community of Bayview is conveniently located on the east side of Highway 501 just north of downtown Conway. Horry County has approved the development of 157 single-family homes in the new home community of Bayview in Upper Conway. Starlight Homes is the builder in the new home community of Bayview in Conway and began presales in October of 2025. Starlight Homes is pricing their new single-family homes in Bayview starting at $269,990.
Spring Grove in Conway by Starlight Homes
Starlight Homes purchased an approximate 42-acre piece of property just southwest of downtown Aynor where they are building their new home community of Spring Grove. The location of this parcel is in a quiet country like setting, slightly northeast of the intersection of Highway 501 and Highway 22, just off of Highway 319. The single-family homes in the new Aynor community of Spring Grove started to presell in September of 2025. There will be 100 single-family homes in the new home community of Spring Grove in Aynor. Starlight Homes is pricing their new single-family homes in Spring Grove starting at $217,990.
Andalusia in Loris by Starlight Homes
The new home community of Andalusia in Loris is conveniently located just off of Highway 9, adjacent to the Crown Park Golf Club. The single-family homes in the Loris community of Andalusia started to sell in the summer of 2024. There will be 202 single-family homes on an 117 acre piece of land in the new home community of Andalusia in Loris. Starlight Homes is pricing their new single-family homes in Loris starting at $233,490.
