News Title:Orchard Park is an exciting new home community by Beazer Homes coming soon to Little River. SC
The new home community of Orchard Park in Little River will rise on one of the last remaining undeveloped parcels in this highly desirable coastal area, offering homebuyers a rare opportunity to own in a location where new land for development is becoming increasingly scarce.
Surrounded by the charm and natural beauty that define Little River, the new home community of Orchard Park by Beazer Homes is expected to bring thoughtfully designed homes and modern community planning to an area already known for its coastal lifestyle, proximity to the Intracoastal Waterway, and easy access to nearby destinations like North Myrtle Beach. As new home construction continues to expand throughout the region, the new home community of Orchard Park in Little River represents one of the final opportunities to introduce a new residential community in this well-established part of the Grand Strand.
Two parcels of land surrounding Apple Tree Lane in Little River, SC totaling approximately 32.81 acres were recently rezoned to MRD 2 in 2024. Zoning classifications define how land can be used and what types of structures can be built. In Horry County, MRD-2 is one of the “Medium Residential District” categories. MRD-2 is intended for medium-density residential development, primarily single-family homes, townhomes, or other residential structures at a moderate lot density. It’s a step up from MRD-1, allowing slightly smaller lots or more units per acre.
