Hayden Point is planned as a large residential development spanning approximately 215 acres and is expected to include about 629 single-family homes across six phases. The property is located near Forest Street Extension and U.S. 17 Bypass, placing Hayden Point in an area that has seen continued residential growth as Shallotte expands.
The Hayden Point development is part of a larger planned unit development that was originally approved for its first three phases in 2022. Additional phases are now moving forward, with Phases 4–6 planned to add approximately 207 single-family homes on about 96 acres. When completed, Hayden Point will represent a substantial new home community in the Shallotte area and add another significant D.R.
