White Oaks Estates is a small residential community in the Conway area where Great Southern Homes, now part of Stanley Martin Homes, built 10 homes. Six undeveloped homesites remain, and ownership of those lots has transferred to Stanley Martin following its acquisition of Great Southern Homes.
Unlike the builder's other local Great Southern Homes communities, where development is continuing to move forward, White Oaks Estates has yet to show signs of renewed construction. No new building permits have appeared for the remaining lots. The reason for the pause has not been confirmed, although the limited number of homesites remaining may present different planning, construction, and financial considerations than larger developments with substantial inventory.
