News Title: In just 9 months, D. R. Horton has sold all but a couple of the single-family homes in Haven View and is expected to sell out the community in early October of 2025.
Haven View is a new home community in Murrells Inlet by D. R. Horton. D. R. Horton developed 43 single-family homes on a 15.7 acre tract of land directly off of McDowell Shortcut Road in Murrells Inlet.
In less than a year, D.R. Horton has sold nearly all of the single-family homes in Haven View. Only a couple of homes remain available, and the builder anticipates the community will be completely sold out by early October 2025. This quick sales pace highlights the strong demand for new housing in the area and the popularity of Haven View among homebuyers.
D. R. Horton offered their Tradition Series homes in Haven View along with the following floorplans:
- Darby – 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 car garage, 1 story, 1,883 square feet of living space
- Eaton – 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 car garage, 1 story, 1,733 square feet of living space
- Forrester – 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 car garage, 2 stories, 2,643 square feet of living space
- Harbor Oak – 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 car garage, 2 stories, 3,129 square feet of living space
- Litchfield – 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 car garage, 1 story, 1,983 square feet of living space
- Tillman – 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, 2 car garage, 2 stories, 3,113 square feet of living space
- Westerly – 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 3 car garage, 2 stories, 3,764 square feet of living space
The single-family homes in Haven View have sold from as low as $385,000 to as high as $549,000 with an average selling price of around $478,000.
There is an 81.98 acre piece of land adjacent to Haven View (labeled as “Future” on the accompanying map) that will likely be developed in the near future. As of September of 2025, timing and plans for development of this parcel of land have not yet been announced.
As of September 2025, new home construction near Haven View includes:
- Brittmore Park - only 19 homesites by D. R. Horton that started selling in 2023 and sold out in 2024
- Ranch Haven – 50 homesites by D. R. Horton that started selling in the spring of 2024 and sold out in early 2025
- Glasgow Village - 44 single-family homes by Chris Manning that first started to sell in February of 2024
- Bally Castle – townhomes by Mungo Homes that started presales in late August of 2025
- Indigo Creek – single family homes within the master planned community of Indigo Creek by Lennar that first started to sell in 2024
- Townes @ Prince Creek West – townhomes by Toll Brothers that have not yet started to sell
