News Title:Final bonded plat for Southwind Cove in North Myrtle Beach by Lennar
An approximate 8.52 acre of land in North Myrtle Beach next to Carolina Keys and Bellesera had a second reading passed to rezone the property to Mid-Rise Multifamily Residential in September of 2022. The North Myrtle Beach Planning Commission subsequently approved the preliminary plat of the subdivision, now know as Southwind Cove, in March of 2024.
The final bonded plat for Southwind Cove will be set for approval during the next North Myrtle Beach Planning Commission Meeting on January 7, 2025.
This final bonded plat will officially approve the Southwind Cove map whereby the developer will formally agrees to provide the financial guarantee (or bond) the ensure completion of the required infrastructure improvements within the development.
Southwind Cove is conveniently located close to the Intracoastal Waterway near where Robert Edge Parkway intersects with Highway 17. Highway 31 and Highway 9 are both close to this location.
Lennar will be the builder in Southwind Cove.
