The master planned community of Sun Colony, as defined by Horry County City Council, has a total of 514 single family units approved for development and a total of 389 multi-family units approved for development. As of April 1, 2025, 423 of the single-family units have been constructed with an additional 91 single family units remaining to be constructed. Also as of April 1, 2025, 121 of the multi-family units have been constructed with an additional 208 multi family units remaining to be constructed.
