Summary of this Myrtle Beach Area New Home Community:
Westwood Reserve is a new single-family home community in Conway, South Carolina, located approximately five miles north of downtown Conway near Veterans Highway and Highway 701. The community is part of the much larger Collins Jollie master-planned development, a conservation-oriented residential project covering approximately 809 acres northeast of Conway. Westwood Reserve occupies approximately 134 acres of that larger property and is one of several separate residential communities being developed within the Collins Jollie master plan. The location provides residents with a quieter setting north of Conway while remaining within convenient driving distance of downtown Conway, Highway 501, the Grand Strand and Myrtle Beach.

Presales at Westwood Reserve began in 2025, with Great Southern Homes originally serving as the builder. The community was initially planned for approximately 215 single-family homes on the 134-acre tract. Westwood Reserve was originally brought forward through Creekside Homes, whose homebuilding assets were acquired by United Homes Group in January 2024, bringing the project under the Great Southern Homes brand. Stanley Martin Homes has now taken over as the builder at Westwood Reserve and is offering a new collection of floor plans as the community continues to develop.

One of the most important aspects of Westwood Reserve is its connection to the Collins Jollie Conservation Subdivision. The overall Collins Jollie master plan calls for approximately 1,333 residential units across 809 acres, including single-family detached and attached homes, while dividing the property into multiple tracts that can be developed separately by different owners and builders. Westwood Reserve is one of those individual tracts. Other portions of the Collins Jollie property are being developed separately, including Kingston Oaks by Lennar and Maple Grove by D.R. Horton. This means Westwood Reserve is not a standalone development unrelated to its surroundings; it is one component of a much larger planned residential area that is gradually transforming this part of northern Conway.

The conservation aspect is another defining feature of the larger Collins Jollie development. The master plan incorporates primary and secondary conservation areas and open space, with Westwood Reserve being developed within that broader framework. Current community information emphasizes homesites adjoining woodlands or preserved green space, along with ponds, walking trails and protected common areas. Westwood Reserve therefore combines new-home construction with a development plan that retains portions of the property's natural landscape.

Stanley Martin Homes Floor Plans

The Summit is a single-story plan offering approximately 2,313 square feet of living space. The current Westwood Reserve version includes three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a two-car garage, with the design centered around an open-concept arrangement connecting the kitchen, dining and main living areas. The Summit provides a relatively spacious single-level option within the current Stanley Martin collection and is positioned at the smaller end of the four-plan lineup.

The Easton offers approximately 2,706 square feet in Stanley Martin's broader floor-plan collection and provides a more compact one-level design than the other current Westwood Reserve plans. The plan features an open living arrangement with the kitchen and main living areas connected, along with a primary suite and additional bedrooms.

The Brandt is a single-story design offering approximately 2,498 square feet, with three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a powder room and a two-car garage. The plan expands upon the Summit with additional living space while retaining the convenience of a one-level layout. Current homes in Westwood Reserve using the Brandt include open-concept living areas, a large kitchen and direct connections between the primary living spaces and outdoor areas, with the plan designed to take advantage of the community's wooded and preserved surroundings.

The Thorpe is one of the largest of the four Stanley Martin plans offered at Westwood Reserve, with approximately 2,615 square feet. It is a one-story, three-bedroom design with two-and-a-half bathrooms and a two-car garage. The additional square footage provides more room throughout the main living areas, while the open-concept kitchen, dining and family spaces maintain the contemporary layout found throughout Stanley Martin's collection.

Westwood Reserve is therefore developing as both a new-home community in its own right and as an important piece of the much larger Collins Jollie Conservation Subdivision. With Stanley Martin Homes now building the community and offering the Summit, Easton, Brandt and Thorpe floor plans, Westwood Reserve has entered a new phase of development. Its location north of Conway, its proximity to major roads and the Grand Strand, and its connection to a master plan that will ultimately encompass more than 1,300 homes make Westwood Reserve part of one of the larger residential development stories taking shape around Conway.
